Save the Date: Upcoming WESTMODIOlogues for Bishop Nominees
Dear Congregations,
How time flies. The Bishop Search Committee has been hard at work and will soon present to the Standing Committee their slate of final nominees for the Ninth Bishop of the Diocese of West Missouri.
Once this announcement is made, the Transition Committee will start their work of planning the Meet and Greets (known as WESTMODIOlogues).
The Transition Committee has been hard at work formalizing the WESTMODIOlogues.
Mark your calendars with the following dates for the opportunity to meet the final nominees in and around the Diocese. All (for everyone) WESTMODIOlogues will be at the following locations and all will start at 6:00 p.m. with a light meal and the discussions will start at 7:00 p.m.

The Standing Committee anticipates that the slate of candidates will be released on July 31st at noon. The petition process will open at the same time.

O Jesus, be present in our discernment, and lead us to a shepherd who will invite us to live out the Gospel every day. O Holy Spirit, inspire us with your wisdom, and kindle our hearts with the fire of your love, that we may be renewed as we prepare to welcome the ministry of our next bishop. This we ask trusting in You. Amen."
